Position: Head Finance & Accounts

Location: Mumbai

The Head – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for leading and overseeing the entire finance and accounting function of the organization. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in accounting, banking, financial reporting, and systems upgradation, with a proven track record of managing large-scale financial operations in a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross-Functional Support:
  Collaborate with and provide financial support to other departments for budgeting, cost control, and financial planning purposes.
• Books of Account Management:
  Oversee the maintenance, completion, and accuracy of books of accounts in compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards.
• Idle Fund Monitoring:
  Analyze cash flows and report idle funds to management with recommendations for effective utilization or investment.
• Managing Investment Portfolio & Providing insight of alternative fund ,PMS and Mutual fund etc.
• Financial Statements & Audit Finalization:
  Prepare profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and various financial statements post reconciliation. Lead the finalization of accounts and coordinate with auditors for timely audit closure.
• Finance System Upgradation:
  Lead initiatives to upgrade finance and accounting systems, including SAP implementation/enhancement to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Others:
  Supervise the checking and approval of vouchers to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  Prepare and review ratio analysis statements and other financial metrics to aid performance evaluation and strategic decision-making.
• Responsible for Authorizations of Online Payment and submission of various Banking Documents
• 
  Prepare and submit monthly stock statements, quarterly and half-yearly operating statements to bankers. Ensure timely submission of all documents required by banking institutions.
  Sign cheques and banking documents in accordance with delegated authority and organizational policies.Managing all daily accounting activities of the head Office.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA) / MBA Finance or equivalent professional qualification
• 20+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably in manufacturing sectors.
• Proven track record of handling audits, financial reporting, and compliance.
