Key Focus Areas
• Driving the top line, Profitability and other key metrics like AoV, Customer & Order
penetration for the category.
• Assortment rationalization: Effective assortment management of the category keeping
in mind the product & price mix across different locations.
• JBP/Visibility closure with the brand: Ensuring timely closure and execution of JBP and
visibilities with the brand.
• Managing effective & Strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
for proper alignment.
• Designing & Implementing the Campaign for the category to drive growth.
• Strategize positioning of a product to basis various factors like promotions, brand
• Benchmarking National & Regional competitors to maintain competitive pricing on the
• Adequate & Effective Inventory management to ensure minimal stock-outs and at the
same time maintain adequate days cover.
• Vendor Management: Evaluation and negotiation related to commercial terms &
conditions, pricing, promotions and new product introductions.
Experience Required –
Required Experience – 3-5 years of experience in a Category Management role in FMCG or Retail.
Industry preferred:- Retail, FMCG, Internet
