Role Objective

The Manager – Sales & Business Development is responsible for driving sales and revenue from both existing and new customer accounts within the Banking and Government segments in North India. This role involves prospecting, networking, and executing marketing initiatives and account plans to expand the footprint of company., resulting in revenue growth and quota attainment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically target high-value business opportunities in Banking and Government verticals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to sell  products, services, and solutions to exceed assigned quotas.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions that address client-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with customers on new opportunities and participate in negotiated/RFP sales processes.
  • Understand customer requirements to negotiate contracts, pricing, and SLA with internal departments.
  • Apply solution-oriented selling strategies and maintain a hunter’s mentality to identify and convert opportunities.
  • Present ROI/TCO and build value during negotiations.
  • Maintain detailed account and opportunity data in CRM (win plans, customer touchpoints, inhibitors).
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts and meet annual quota targets (measured quarterly).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years of proven success in selling technology products and solutions to Banks and Government institutions.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to uncover, qualify, develop, and close new accounts.
  • Experience with self-service products (ATMs, kiosks) highly desirable.
  • Solid pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
  • Excellent time management, autonomy, and self-direction.
  • Ability to travel as required to client sites and company meetings.
  • Ethical, professional conduct with strong integrity.
